Wisekid in french wisekid.wordpress.com

Good morning to all my readers

I know I have many readers,  I see the statistics, in September there was over 3000 hits on my blog.

Yesterday, on my return from Fort McMurray, I saw safety helmets on fences. I wondered what it was and finally realized that this is the way for guys that leaves the Oil Sand to turn the page on a significant portion of their life.

I felt the same need to turn a great page in my life too. I had with me a safety helmet that I picked up in the Parc de La Vérandrye.  I picked it up,  because thought I would need it Fort McMurray. I stopped on the side of the road took my helmet and I wrote wisekid.wordpress.com.

I heard so many people complain that our society was not what they wanted it to be.  The news is full of what’s wrong in our society. I sincerely believed that I could attend a better world by sharing the beauty I see trough my eyes. I know it’s still in me to do that, I feel stuck in a deadlock position as my truck did the day before yesterday. I think I’ll need the eyes of someone else again to get me out of this position.

Writing freely on the Web has served me as served me for over 3 years to find myself, find my essence of life and expose it to the world.

I’m tired of living mourning after mourning “job, friendships at the job, relationships, my mother, the bike”

I will allow wisekid to live in the virtual. Myself, I’m mourning and transforming this reality now.

Gone is the red hat amongst of a group of blue hat.  The consequences of being different is great! Our society demands conformity and yet it loves artists who are so different, it’s a weird concept to not promoting the difference within the people we interact!

In our discussions, our future meeting, I will continue to recognize the difference that makes each of you an exceptional person,  a child of mother earth.

I’m going to interrupt my transmissions for now.

Wisekid be silent now. You can reach me by e-mail when wise-kid@hotmail.com on Facebook do a search with my address E-Mail.

Denis

PS: Thanks to Karen and Halima for the discussion this morning at the Starbuck. Thank for your greatness.

Thanks Scott,  for this “After mourning,  comes morning”

“Shit happens”

Good morning all!

My stay in Fort McMurray ends today. Now that I have made the first step, planted the seed,    life might bring me back here. My meetings in Fort McMurray enabled me to talk about interesting opportunities, now the law of letting go applies.

What is clear is that being away from my chip is too uncomfortable for me. I miss Amanda, I realize that I am indeed a sedentary lifestyle. Here at Christian‘s place, I am welcomed with open arms, I even have a bed in the house … I still sleep in my trailer, I feel at home and I need my sheets, my smell. ;-) A smile appears in me when I think about it … I have always been like this.

A first small skirmish in the journey ……

A small iron wall positioned in the blind spot… Did the job!

There are always a place I cannot see in my life. Regardless of the effort that I put.

The beauty here is that a little dent in my new car has always brought me luck. So, as usual with my new car, I gotta go see my friend Stephen.  How will it cost me this time?   Why change old habits … better to stay with it,  don’t you think… , -)

It’s a bit special, how all of this happened,  there was a small iron wall in the blind spot, on the passenger side.  After a slight scratch on the post… you are wondering about the noise ……. I was wondering too…. Finally, the truck was stuck, no way to move.   Holes in the side panel, must be able to have this repaired????    for the rest of the trip,  duck tape will do…

In order to get out of this tight spot,  I had to ask for help to another gentleman who came and guided me so that I could break the deadlock. I could not see on the passenger side.  I needed the eyes of someone else and I had to trust that person!

Thank you to the passerby who offered me help.

Thank you to the 3 girls who were laughing!! ;-)

Laws of Attraction works everywhere, returning from supper last night, someone had left his cordless drill near the waste container.

Christian picked it up and he said he would try to recover and repair. Maybe give it to someone who has a need!

A nice gesture, from a person that is sensitive to others and to the environment.  He owns his business CleanEarth Tech!    He is here in Fort McMurray to help extract with the least amount of damage and apply logic of repairs and recycle.

Good day everyone!

I am heading for Banff, the Rocky Mountains,  here there are 10 men for every woman, the competition is too fierce! ;-)

2010-09-28 Directly from Fort McMurray

September 28, 2010

My brother asked me this afternoon, what are you doing Fort McMurray, Alberta? I’ll try to answer at least what I know!

First, I am in the process re-establishing my consulting business.  I am a life coach and I have the opportunity to have a good perspective on all the events. I appreciate and am able to see the positive in every situation and also the negative.  I am seeing things easily in many perspectives.

I’m here either to get a job, a customer or just passing through. Time will tell me! What is clear to me is that my life is in Sherbrooke, Qc.   I need to see my daughter and my family frequently, they are my sunshine, my support.

On thing is clear to me, I had to see from my own eyes.  How it is, when a group persons decides to meet a need of the population. Here they are meeting a need for “petroleum”.  It’s impressive what’s happening here, I am from Quebec and not old enough to have witness the construction and the preparation for Expo 67 and the Olympic games of 76, we still have the legacy in Montreal, the Casino of Montreal now.

Here, everything is being built from scratch entire neighbourhoods are built and no one dwells in again. Gas stations, restaurants with 2-3 customers at lunch time. It’s particular, those restaurants are not going bankrupt they are just getting ready for the wave of customers coming ahead.  The investors know that people will come and work here in the Oil Sand.  It is our lifestyle as humans that create all of this.  “Our need for “fuel””.

I’m really speechless; I do not know what to think!

On one side I see the power that men have and the other side I see all the destruction that power generates.

I met a friend Mark earlier. Mark worked in the oil sands previously.  He is now looking in dumpster to live here in Fort McMurray.  The reason, his lungs are suffering from a serious illness and he is on medication every day! I ran into him, at the rear of the beautiful house that my friend Christian lives in.   What he would like today, is that the city of Fort McMurray allows him to look into the city garbage,  because he knows he could make a good living,  since everything here is sent to landfill.

What to think? I have no way of making myself an opinion today, I’ll let you form your own opinion.

What is clear to my soul, what is responsible for this reality in Fort McMurray is our lifestyle, our desire to consume ever more. Our commitment to consume more and more!
• Do not blame the workers, they are all trying to make a Life
• Do not blame the investors; they are simply there to meet a need and make profit.  Without the Oil sands in Canada, where would our economy be?
• Do not blame the Americans, they withdrew from Afghanistan to return to peacetime and they still need fuel.
• Do not blame the Government of Canada, it is also an economic crisis.

The pictures are worth a 1000 words, our current lifestyle on the planet is to blame and who is responsible to change our society lifestyle.

“Each and every one of us!”

For my part, I am doing what I have shared with my friend Ian.  I’m only here as an observer, as quantum physics has shown us!  Observing has the capacity to change what we see!  Let’s all observe then.

Good evening

Denis
